Sam & Jen

Sam and Jen were married at St Mary’s Anglican church in Karori, Wellington. They would have to be one of the most popular couples in Wellington, as I have never seen so many people try to cram into a church! I guess it is testimony to the fantasic people that they are.

The ceremony was very moving, as Sam’s father was the celebrant, and the words spoken were very intimate. Afterwards, we headed over the road to Marsden College (where I photographed Gary & Nicky’s wedding back in February). We had full access to the old building, which is huge, and has some very grand places inside.

The bridal party headed to the reception venue, and I went with Sam & Jen to Houghton Bay, on Wellington’s beautiful south coast. We got some really intimate moments on the beach, which proved to make some stunning photos. Wellington’s July southerly put a quick end to our beach adventure, so we headed off to the reception, which was at The Pines, also in Houghton Bay. It is a fantastic venue, with great food, and a beautiful view of the beach and the South Island. Entertainment was provided by wedding band Jonny and The Dreamboats, who I have had the pleasure of working with previously (HERE & HERE).

It was a fantastic day. Congratulations to the Harveys!

Haha, the jumping one is really fun!!! I know it’s so hard to get everyone to coordinate in those kinds of shots, but those guys look like masters.
