I had the privilege of photographing my first Kiwi-Korean wedding when I shot Sharon and Soo Young’s Wellington wedding recently. Sharon had planned to change into a traditional Korean dress for the reception, but we found out on the day that it was stuck in customs in Auckland! It was a bit of a disappointment, but didn’t put a damper on an otherwise wonderful wedding. Although it felt like winter with Wellington’s trademark freezing southerly and horizontal rain, we managed to get some great shots outdoors anyway. However, I wouldn’t recommend heading to Houghton Bay for photos in a southerly!
Thank you Sharon and Soo Young for allowing me to be a part of your wonderful day. Congratulations!
